The US-American John Hackett initially trained at the Tulsa Ballet Centre, which was followed by four years of studies at the renowned Juilliard School in New York. From 2021 to 2024 he was a member of the Quorum Ballet in Lisbon. For his further professional education, he took part in various classes, such as the Arts Umbrella/Ballet and a workshop by Ohad Naharin at the Juilliard School. From the 2024/25 season, John Hackett is a permanent member of the Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett ensemble.
