Leticia Gañan, born in Seville, received her degree in architecture in 2000 from the University of Seville. She subsequently worked as an architect on public and private building projects, began her doctoral studies at the University of Seville and held solo and group exhibitions of her work in Seville (Sala Estudio Alminar, Fundación Aparejadores, Canteras de Osuna), Córdoba (Ayto. Pozoblanco) and Huelva (Ayto. Gibraleón and at the Colegio de Arquitectos de Huelva). In 2006, she joined General de Producciones y Diseño, where she participated in designing and coordinating large-scale installations (C.I. Ecoparque de La Rioja, C.I. San Juan de la Peña), trade fair stands, multimedia shows, theme parks and trade fair pavilions, such as at ExpoZaragoza 2008 (Pavilion of Oman). In 2008, Leticia Gañan and designer Curt Allen Wilmer founded a joint design studio ("EstudiodeDos"). Since then, the collective has created stage and costume designs for renowned Spanish directors such as José Luis Gómez, Gerardo Vera, Ernesto Caballero, Andrés Lima, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Joan Font, José Pascual, Juan Carlos Rubio, Antonio Álamo and Yayo Cáceres. Since 2012, Leticia Gañan has been a lecturer in the master's programme in stage design at the IED Madrid (Istituto Europeo di Design).
