Oli and Ani love each other. They eat wild garlic pesto, are politically active and want to do everything correctly through their relationship – and the desire to raise a child is starting to germinate. Then there is Svenja: pregnant and only 14 years old. Chugging a bottle of schnaps or falling down the stairs aren’t working, and she can’t bring herself to grab the knitting needle. But becoming a mother? Absolutely not.

In his drama debut, multiple award-winning director David Bösch sheds light on the psyches of young people on the threshold of voluntary and involuntary parenthood under late-stage capitalism.
