Von Mendelssohn Bartholdy erklingen „Lieder ohne Worte“ in einer Kammermusikfassung. Virtuoser Abschluss des Konzertes mit perlenden Klavierläufen ist das „Trio Pathéthique“ von Michail Glinka.
